My Type Set Coins

dadamsdadams Posts: 376 ✭✭✭
The coins below are currently in my type set. I have more than what is shown here but would be quite embarrassed to try to show anything else with what are horrendous photos.

At present the 1831 LC is raw, but will be sent to our host for hopeful official inclusion.

As I was putting this post together, and looking through the coins, I have come to the conclusion that many of the coins I bought early will need to be replaced. You may be able to determine which coins I have bought most recently.

As I add and replace coins I'll update this thread occasionally.

All best,

-d

    Nice collection

You have coverage from colonial to current.

Would like to see a VF capped half dollar but that may be one of the photos you were reluctant to show us.

Your silver Rosie looks MS68 (bit of a weak strike though...)!

Very nice collection... yep, not a fan of tarnish, but under much of that tarnish, dwell some very nice coins...and it is HIS collection, not mine. That Merc looks FB.... Cheers, RickO

Always a pleasure looking at coins. Not so much looking through them , as my eyes get tired. However , when organized and assembled, they're most beautiful. image

image Congrats! You passed the test . . . all kidding aside thanks for letting me know.

This one shows a clash in the reverse field to the right of F in HALF and above the E in DIME with a grade of MS64

The 1862 Half Dime, the '46 Rosie and the gold Indian are very nice coins... not to say the others are not nice...many have excellent strikes... those three just caught my eye... Cheers, RickO
