1933 Lincoln Wheat Cent GTG (Updated - Gold CAC)

Not my coin, but thought it would make an interesting GTG thread.

Why?
MS61/62 RB. Something that sat for years or decades against a reactive surface. Reminds me of the color/look we'd often see when searching through old jars of wheat pennies at Grandma's.

What does "GTG" mean?
GTG = Guess The Grade.
I'm going with 63R/B.

Thanks. All I was thinking was "Good To Go" like the coin was ready to send in to PCGS.

Well, just Love coins, period.
I gotta tell you -- that coin looks like it had been gold plated at one time and that some of the gold plating has worn off as it circulated for a bit.
I agree

I like that look and the price was super reasonable.

I was going to say AU55...why a Gold CAC???
Because CAC thought it was a 58 I presume.
I once submitted a common date $5 Lib in OGH AU55 to CAC and got a Gold CAC on it too. It was very lightly circulated and one CAC saw as a lock 58.
Unique. Priceless. I like it. How much is it?

Snappy come back. What I was referring to is that the apparent wear would not equal an AU55, let alone a green CAC. I won't quit my day (or night) job. It has to be the lighting which is drawing criticism...including my own.
