That's awesome. I like the 1900 O/CC. I have two myself, the VAM 11 and 8a. VAM 12 is a little scarcer than the 11

I like the O/CC Variety, but have remained just out of reach for a nice UNC (20th Century Type Set).

Being that there are several VAM (PCGS recognized 7, 7a, 8, 8a, 9, 10, 11 & 12) Varieties I would guess that the differences are on the Obverse Die, or was there more than one reverse die leftover from CC sent to New Orleans?

    A. "Curiously, this error was made on more than one die. Were the 1900-O/CC Dollars made using old leftover dies from years earlier, or did an engraver make a mistake by punching a CC mintmark into some reverse dies in 1900?"
