PS- HOWEVER, I will say that the thumbnail images, though they "take up screen real estate" as you say, ARE an improvement in my humble opinion, and actually do away with one of my biggest gripes about their old format. I much prefer going down a list and browsing by thumbnail images, rather than having to click constantly to take a peek.
So without yet doing much browsing since the change, I will say "yay" to NEN for that, at least.

My biggest gripe with Great Collections is that the thumbnails aren't large enough.
I shop mainly from my computer (tablet) so site navigation, unless really cumbersome, is not an issue. I like NEN... and find their website to be user friendly. Cheers, RickO

It is when I was so instantly turned off by the new change that I backed right out and didn't see that option.
Sorry that I didn't spend the time for you and your snarkiness.
I like NEN, and have used their services for awhile, but I am also used to designers that, when making changes to their websites for customers, make things either more obvious or more upfront.
The eye, or mine at least, catches the big things right away.....one doesn't always spend a lot of time looking around. In this case, the "view as list" is right smack in the middle, but not overly obvious (to me at least) when I am there expecting to see something and it has changed.
Majority has spoken and NEN seems to have made a change that many like. That's the right thing for their business then.
I have changed it back to list view and will go by that, but, that said, I work for, and have worked for, businesses that have external websites for customers and we have always had to be aware of the impact of changes made and making things more difficult, valid or perceived, for any customer. The implementation of a change like this, wouldn't have passed initially.

I stand by the fact I had an opinion. As I said, others had a different opinion, so, for all intents and purposes, NEN did the right thing. Already stated that.
As for you/casman/some others, I honestly don't care. You guys like being a bit on the nasty side to certain folks, so I am used to it.
At this point, with my gout acting up, I just don't care about much from folks that do that stuff.

As I stated, this will be the 3rd time, others have a different opinion and so, therefore, NEN must have done the right change, for them.

I didn't attack NEN (I stated I didn't like the new change).
I also stated I have purchased coins from them and I perused their website multiple times per week. Nothing negative.

Just a bit tired of people like you that like to put words into other people's mouths and spout off like you are perfect and the world revolves around you. Never bringing much to the table, if anything, other than you view of other people and their opinions.

They are a good dealer and I like them. It was the change (and I don't get the newsletter so I didn't know about it until I went there) that I didn't like.
