In another recent thread while looking up certification numbers on PCGS's website just for the heck of it I put in the last seven digits of my phone number. Interestingly enough it came up as a coin that has been certified. Has anyone else done this before by searching for either the first seven or eight, or the last seven or eight digits of your phone number? There are so many people who collect various styles and varieties of different generation slabs, why not look for a true needle in a haystack? It would be a prized addition if I could find the one of the many millions that have been graded that has my phone number as the certification number.

    Ebay and a search through Google images didn't get a hit for the 1879-S Morgan I need to find in MS65 PL.

    My phone number coin is an 1888 Morgan dollar in MS64 with a population of 15,138 and a priceguide value of 84 bucks. (Not terribly exciting, I'm afraid.)

    The number I put in first was my current cell phone number.



    I just tried our old landline number (which is over 3.5 million digits removed from the other), and got...

    In other words, the exact same thing.



    Yeah, OK, so that coin and grade have a huge population, but still, that's kind of spooky, I think.
