Nice strike, strong central details, limited marks, nice surfaces, what's not to like. Tiny black speck on obverse I could do without and maybe a little sharper focus on the photo.

I don't collect walkers but I can tell (from being able to clearly see lady liberty's entire left hand) that this is a hammered strike and clean surfaces. I like it!

Very nice Walker. Is the depression on the right wrist as struck?

Very nice! Always good to see the 'knuckles' on the central hand. Looks like creamy original skin too.

The wrist looks "struck through", and there appears to be a die crack extending from the tip of the wing into the second T of STATES. Anyway, it looks like a nice specimen.

Looks nice to me. That one little speck is not big enough to bother me.

Bet it has nice luster we can't see in the photos above.

The 1934 P issue is often struck very well. Your example exemplifies this - you see the full branch and the separation of the first finger of Liberty's left hand, excellent head detail, and all of the feathers on the eagle's left leg.

    Wonderful example. Congratulations.

    Nice one!

Here's one of mine PCGS has right now. I anticipate yours grades a point or 2 higher than this one.

Compare the quality of the 34 philly to the typical D mint "pancake head" and S mint which is commonly found with flatness on the eagle's breast feathers.

    Funny you should say that.
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Thanks. There is a dimple there that LIKELY happened during the striking process, as it doesn't look like a typical reeding or other bag mark to me. Die cracks don't bother me at all----I actually think that they are cool and they're very common on Walkers.
