Which series (any denomination) is currently unloved, out of favor and reasonable to complete?

Im not looking at starting any new projects, just curious on what you experts see out in the marketplace in your respective series.
Which series (any denomination) is currently unloved, out of favor and reasonable to complete? Does the series also have long term (15+ years out) upside or dead in the water?
Reasonable = price on the low side of the range for the given series.
Look forward to hearing people's thoughts.

On a more serious note, Platinum Eagles are currently unloved, many are low-mintage and most have low premiums above metal value.

Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
I consider it the last honest US coin.

Then again, Liberty nickels have always struck me as being deep in the shadows cast by their hugely popular Buffalo successors, and even their contemporary Barber counterpart denominations.

Indian $2.5's and $5's while not unloved are priced well below past trends.
Early Commems are unloved when not with monster color
I agree that $2.5 eagles are very reasonably priced (in my opinion) right now and I've been quickly plugging away some nice coins while spot is down. It is a "cheap" set to collect in low-mid MS and there are only 15 coins in total with one show stopper...
2) Was it hyped to death from the mint with 48 quadrillion made? Unloved
3) Did 132,000,000 people buy BU rolls and stash them away, and they will flood the market for years? Unloved
4) Dead Dog Ugly? Unloved
5) 787,241 varieties needed to complete set, that the differences can only be seen with the Hubble Space Telescope? Unloved
6) Set has 1 - 3 coins that are made out of unobtanium? Unloved.
As to the series that is well popular and not too expensive to complete, I'd say the Kennedy series! Now if you would include all the variety aspect of the series, it would cost quite a bit more cash. but well worth it, I think anyway?-joey I

The only set I ever completed was the PCGS Everyman $2.50 Indian gold, all in grade 58. Fifteen pieces are needed to complete the full set. Only the 1911-D is pricey, costing just about what the remaining fourteen coins costs all together.
U.S. Type Set
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
One classic series of low mintage, of classic design, very inexpensive and unloved forever is the Three Cent Nickel proofs.
I can help but think all US base metal coins are underappreciated and clads and 3c nickels head the list. A lot of the cents and half cents aren't really "underappreciated" but there are lots of ways to collect them that put them in reach of more casual collectors.
There is simply going to be a growing percentage of collectors who don't mind base metal. If numbers of collectors increases as much as is apparent this will help these coiins a lot.

My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
I have to go with First Spouse Gold. Not cheap as a lot of gold coins, but many in the super low 2,000 mintage range and very unloved now. When the series is over this year, I expect a rebound over time for all of them, especially if gold prices hold up.
I agree. My set of PR and MS is now complete.
I also agree with many of members here and thank you for your expertise and feedback. Very interesting to see the number of times a few series came up.
Would love to hear from more members, very insightful.

2 Cent series
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Two cents
Limiting this to U.S. Coins, I would go with the following:
Classic Commems
III Cent nickels
2 Cent series
BINGO!
Its relatively "cheap" to get in on high grade examples of 65-67 for less than $300 per coin. A different design some of which are beautiful and really interesting.
I think that while they didnt really circulate, they are an easy transition for anyone building modern commems or anything vintage.
I dont know where the bottom will be but I think they are ultimately a great value.
Yes, your charts look great for % of the market, but when you go to sell, there is no market left.
Beanie Babies, Cabbage Pack Kids, etc.
All could be purchased for 1/2 their peak price, on the way to oblivion.
Unlike the SBA.....yeeesh!

And within the First Spouse series, there is the four-coin "Liberty" subset, each with a design based a classic obverse. Premiums above melt are reasonable, and there are no "stoppers".

There is a total of 151 coins in proof and uncirculated combined.
There are a lot of mundane designs and artwork that makes you wonder why they even bothered but there are some attractive designs and worthy causes, as well. And that is the reason few people choose to collect the whole set. Collectors who buy any of these coins do it the same as the classic commems, they just pick up a few they like with no intention of completing a full set.
That is reason that they are so "affordable". You can buy several of the early dates for just a few dollars over melt. And the 5 Atlanta Olympic dollars that are the keys have mintages from under 15,000 to less than 20,000 and sell for only $100 to a little over $200 in MS69 condition.
Extremely affordable but unloved and not going anywhere soon.
