A few new pickups

coinsarefuncoinsarefun Posts: 21,757 ✭✭✭✭✭
A month or so back I caught the flu which quickly turned to pneumonia and heart failure......unfortunately the doctors missed most of the signs it has done un- reparable damage to my kidney transplant......image

But, today is the first time I'm home from the many hospital stays and ventured to a local coin shop.

No home runs but I always liked the Slug So-called dollars and if I'm not mistaken this on is brass with gold overlay and rarity 8

If it's different please let me know.

Another few fun pickups for virtually no premium are some old poured silver bars.

I will post pics in a few minutes

Stay well everyone!!

Here we go.

Went to the doctor today for the final tests and official diagnosis.
Kidney is almost gone and they are wanting to put me back on dialysis.

This will be a hard decision as I promised myself never to go through the torment again.
So I have many things to think about and maybe search for a possible donor as I would
not last long on dialysis.....so doesn't make much sense to start it again.

Keep healthy everyone, it's more important than money as you can always make more when your
    health is there.

I'm so sorry Stef and sending you positive energy. The last time I saw you....you were running up and down the hill on the property you were checking out for me. The geologist agreed with you and I ended up with a much better house. You're a gem

Great pickups! Ultra cool bullion. But it's even WAY better to see your great attitude, and have you back on the boards!

    Hang tough, and stay positive.
