New target toned Morgan

I run across these every now and then, and this one caught my eye. I personally think it's a 64 with a color bump, but it doesn't matter.

I saw that one for sale recently and almost jumped on it. Really beautiful coin. I agree it is probably a little generous on the grade from a technical standpoint, but the value is definitely in the color anyway, so it doesn't really matter, imo.

    I like her.

Could be right about that 64 grade. I agree that with the look of the coin the point grade is not all that important.

    A great pickup. image

Old small ANACS or PCI maybe or some albums tone that way I like. Keeps the imagination going.

I've never seen a pattern quite like that. It's mostly a target, but the top curves the other way. Awesome!

I saw that go off this past weekend. It was already well past my "comfort" zone though. A sizzler with a 1-2 pt grade bump.

    Very cool coin.

It looks like two sided EOR toning. Yes I know that would be impossible.

I agree about MS64 with a color-kicker. I believe that the cheek is supposed to be smooth(er) than this one for a 65...but the colors are magnificent!
