New Mass copper

I was always running a tad behind on CRO's new product list. Each time I saw one I wanted, I was after someone else who beat me to it (darn work conference calls!)
Well, I was there on time this time, and picked up the 3rd installment (all 3 have actually come from CRO over the years) to our Mass Copper set.
This one continues to meet our criteria....nice planchet, nice color, details are there and text in shield on reverse is readable (in this case, can read all of "half cent"
Images are from CRO and show the coin well. It's in an OGH and John mentioned it was from a grouping of coins that he purchased as a lot at a recent show.
Thanks again, John.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Congrats! That's a very nice looking coin. Nice work by Joseph Callender!

From CRO:
RYK - I believe you already had Mass copper that you sold off a few years ago. I don't remember the grade, but most likely MUCH better than this one
Glad others like it....I appreciate John's eye on quality. I have looked, and looked, and see some others that were quality as well, but John is very reasonable whereas some of the others haven't been, so I am quite happy dealing with John when I can.

That beauty is like the perfectly prepared nachos of Mass Copper.
Ha!
One more to go

Seems you have to be quick on the draw over there at CRO. I don't know much about Colonials (yet), but that does look to be a sweet piece of copper!
"•estimated total mintage 61,500-79,500 from six obverse dies (Ryder 1-6) and four reverse dies (Ryder A-D) all made by Callender and found in 9 combinations."

I think you have me confused with the less charming radiologist, the guy from your neck of the woods.
Nice work by Joseph Callender!
Doing a bit more reading, Joseph apprenticed in Paul Revere's shop and charged 24 shillings per die (unknown if per die or die pair).
Here are his silversmith's initials:
