Anybody go to the richmond va coin show this past weekend?
If so did you pick up anything good or have any pictures?
I was set up there and it was quite a busy show Friday and Saturday. Sunday was a little slow but I guess moms are more important then coin shows

Actually, I picked up some pretty toned Roosies from a friendly dealer who also was very helpful to a Y.N. assembling a folder of Indian Head Cents.
Oooh please show

It did seem like a fairly busy show, when I went on Sat am. Seemed to be a fair amount of silver bullion changing hands. Anacs had a table taking submissions. There were several dealers in ancients and World coins too. In one corner was a bookseller. I had no idea the Mega Redbook was so.... Mega. A real doorstopper of a tome.
I checked out as many trade dollars as I could locate, none that I needed. Did not seem to be much bust coinage, although seated was well represented (did not have time to peruse closely).
I think the Richmond Coin Club did a great job organizing the show, the hotel is right next to I 95, several good restaurants nearby. 2 or 3 uniformed police as security.
useful and keep it handy all the time. Cheers, RickO

No monsters, just mellow album or envelope tone. I might take them out of the 2x2's and photo them with axial light. The color would really pop then.
Also an excuse to try out an extension tube with my Micro Nikkor 105, seems to work ok!
