I'm fortunate to still have my mother.
She was an RN and set aside her career to raise 7 children of which I'm the oldest.
So I've seen LOTS of mothering.
Now she enjoys the fruit of her hard work as we all reward her with love and affection.
Like many, we never had much monetarily but you would never know it.
She was creative and resourceful.
I remember some posts about how certain mothers had an influence on our interest in this hobby.
My mother had a small childhood collection and always understood my interest.

I lost my Mom two weeks ago.... I miss her so much. She was 91 and active right
to the end.

Mothers and their sons have a bond that's difficult to describe.

My Mother was not a coin collector, but she saved her coins for me to check.

My mom was most beautiful in every way. She passed away on my birthday in '11. Born in '22. Was 33 when I was born in '55 and was 88 when she left. She had 15 children and would treat everyone (neighbors and all) , as her own. I don't know why, but it was a wonderful trait I witnessed in her.
Love story's like this.God bless.
Happy late Mothers Day to all the wonderful Moms out there!
