    I personally don't worry about shipping cost. It's usually small enough to not be a significant portion of the cost. "Cost of the hobby".



    And I'm kind of flexible on sales tax. The higher the price, the more I consider it. But if I REALLY want the coin, I might ignore it under the theory that I have to compete with people who DON'T have to pay, so I might have to eat the tax to be competitive.

    Offhand, Does the PCGS price guide values include the BP? I ask because, if not, a newcomer who likely doesn't know will get outbid every time. Heritage includes the BP when showing final prices........what did the coin sell for again?

    Yes, in the "Latest Auction Appearances of This Coin:" the BP is included.



    No, in the "PCGS Price Guide Value:" the BP is not included.

    than any particular item....Until people start voting with their feet, this will continue...and if one house is successful raising fees, others will follow...Cheers, RickO

    That or raise the commish. I doubt that Heritage could survive on 10% commission alone. I think 28% commission would be a real turnoff to consignors.
