Appears to be an opportunity for dealers to add revenue---sell soft drinks at their table for $4.50. And I still wish I was there too.

    Nice report - succinct.

I'm going to grade the soda AS details (artificially sweetened).

But for a complete show report, we definitely need more information - what kind of hot dogs, what kind of mustard (yellow, brown, both?), How many chairs and what kind, etc.

Any coin dealer stories of the super secret trading at hotel pre show?

Absolutely free with the purchase of a $9.00 hot dog.

Whirlwind show for me, took an hour and a half for me to blow my wad. Found my 1873 Two Cent Piece in a PCGS PR64 holder, decent price to boot.

If it's a typical CSNS most dealers will be gone after a day or so.

I usually like all show reports.

Gonna hold judgment on this one until I have had an opportunity to read it a few times to fully grasp all that you have written.

Thanks for taking (all that) time to post. image

Day 2 show report: no soda purchases. I did not purchase a hot dog and can not report whether the services are being tight on the mustard or not.

I was working as a table assistant at Rich Uhrich's table. My wife asked me, how are you assisting the table? Does it need holding up?

Rich purchased a most delectable seated dollar which I promptly dropped on the concrete floor, causing the slab to crack open. No harm to the coin, but that one is now back at PCGS, which charges $22.00 for a reholder. Let's see, 4 sodas at the concession stand equals one reholder.

Buying and selling was very active today and I did not even eat lunch. The public came out heavy from 10am on but slowed later in the afternoon.

Rich recently did a big early half dime variety deal that was first displayed at this show. Several variety experts had a lot of fun picking through everything and many coins were moved.

Back at it for more fun tomorrow.

Catch them on the slow last day of the show and they might offer up $2 off on said beverages. Still, I think an IPA at a bowling alley would be cheaper.

There was no booze on Thursday. I had coffee. People were confused. Does heritage only bring it out at plat night now? Not even in the legacy client room!

What is this world coming to!

I do not believe the OP's report. I do not believe that he drinks soda.

Good show, in my opinion. I met Charmy, The Penny Lady. Nice Lady indeed, I complimented her on giving us forum members the heads up and all the pictures she takes at these shows! She was elated and thanked me for mentioning it to her. Back on the show, only complaint, nobody brought their "Burnished " Silver eagles. At least in the original boxes. 90% of the tables said they left them at their shop. I picked up a beautiful NGC 1953 PF 68 Cameo Quarter, for a bargain of a price! image
One more thing: Word of advice, grab a bite outside the show's concession stand before arriving. I saved a ton of cash! You could pick up a nice coin instead of a Hotdog and a Pop.image
On the "Giving credit where credit is due" thought, I guess they should be allowed to charge those kinda' prices, the admission and the parking is FREE.image

Coinosorus Rex need to learn how to work these shows. Legend and Stacks-Bowers had water available for their big spenders.
