Got a proof 1972 Jefferson in change

I've been paying attention to my change for 30 years. I ONCE found a silver dime, but don't think I've ever gotten a proof. Seems like it only recently made its way into circulation. Kind of strange to think about. Coin sits somewhere for almost 45 years then gets spent. Who spends a nickel anyway?

I found a 1962 proof Jefferson on the ground while walking recently. Weird.

I've put 1968-1972 proofs into circulation.

I'd crack out sets to submit the half or cent and would spend the others as change.

I posted a couple of weeks ago about getting a proof Jefferson in change.. was a little scratched up, but a proof for sure. Cheers, RickO
