Coinstar Finds 4 April

The usual pile of Canadian carp and a '46-D roosie and a beaten up '49 roosie and a British tanner from '65 in a nice EF.

I love a silver lining to my Coinstar hauls.

Just did a little shopping last night. As usual, checked the Coinstar machine, and, as is usual MOST of the time, found no silver, no foreign, nothing of interest. That was until I got home and noticed a '79 Jefferson, WITHOUT a mintmark. Was going to post about it last night, but I knew there would be the 'worthless without pictures' responses. Won't be able to take/post images until later this evening.
    I'll come up with something.

No pix necessary, war nickels aside the "P" mintmark didn't appear on the Jefferson nickel until the following year (1980). The Susie dollar was the only coin to have the "P" mintmark in 1979.

My Adolph A. Weinman signature :)

Just got back home from grocery shopping and was a bit upset that one item didn't ring up at the advertised sale price so I paid an extra 60 cents!! Was too busy to complain about it and get my refund. But karma kicked in and the Coinstar by the door was overflowing with change. I was able to get $1.71 in US change and 31.5 Israeli New Shequels which are worth just over $8. Sweet!
