Nice discovery ten years after I bought the coin

I put a US type set together long ago and hadn't looked at it in many years. I looked at the set a couple of weeks ago and a couple of coins kind of got my attention.

One of the last coins I added to complete the set was a half dime. I went to one of the top coin shops in the area and told the owner what I was looking for and he found one and sold it to me for $40. He has since sold his store and I don't know how to reach him.

After I pulled the coin and looked at it a couple of weeks ago I noticed how mirrored the fields were so I sent it off to be graded with a Franklin mint state that I'm convinced is PL. Hence, it went to NGC and it just showed up in the mail, PF61. Not a huge discovery but I'm quite happy with it.

Very nice. That is also the only year issued with hollow stars (business and proof strikes). Only on the Philly issue though, not New Orleans.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

That's a nice treat! I do like Anthony Paquet's version.
