1869 (AH1286) Morocco 4 Falus -- thoughts?

Hi gang, ok, don't laugh at the below example but believe it or not I've not been able to see/handle a better one in the past year/two. If you've seen better examples, and where, I'm all ears/eyes
Else, is this a terrible example to represent the country/year in my 1869 set (even if just temporarily)? I have thick skin so any feedback is welcome...

Hey fyi, I didn't imagine it NOT getting a decent circ grade ye know - sounds like you thought it would BB!
Nice addition to your set!
Keep an eye on it as it can continue to grown and worsen once slabbed.
Frank, you are probably right but I figured it looked like this already for a real long time, and if I messed with it I might actually make it worse not better (I'm not an expert in brass or copper). Plus I was hoping they'd see the coin is original and straight grade it
But I agree, I'll keep an eye on it and also if I get lucky over the coming years, I might find one in better shape...but what a great placeholder for now for a coin that is tough to find that can straight grade.

I sent it in a few months ago (after I cracked it), and much to my dismay they returned it saying they don't grade these. Since I was sending in a raw order, I took a shot again, and this time it graded!!
As far as the verdigris that might have just needed a month soak to lift it all and then pad it dry to de-grease.
Also cool beans on the Communion Token as that now must be a PCGS first
Highly enthusiastic about world coins, contemporary circulating counterfeits and unusual stuff
Your chance of finding one in good shape is small.
From Mark Twain, Innocents Abroad (1869) Chapter VIII, Tangier, Morocco:
The Jewish money-changers have their dens close at hand, and all day long are counting
bronze coins and transferring them from one bushel basket to another.
They don't coin much money nowadays, I think. I saw none but what was dated four or five
hundred years back, and was badly worn and battered. These coins are not very valuable.

Congrats on it grading. You are sure having fun!
Not half as much fun as he's going to have once he realizes he needs to start collecting 1469, 1569, 1669 and 1769!
Doggedly collecting coins of the Central American Republic.

Why do you have to go and do that
Making these kind of subtle suggestions/challenges is what go me started on this in the first place. I can't even imagine (yet) going back further in time.
All kidding aside you know the inspiration for set came from you
