As mentioned in the above post,
it's the common 'ejection' or
mechanical doubling....not a doubled die.

The appendix section of the CherryPickers
Guide to Die Varieties explains the different
types of Doubled Dies, and how to tell them
apart from ejection/mechanical doubling.

Showed this coin to Mr. Potter over the weekend and it's a good one .

I barely see any doubling, and the doubling i do see is mechanical strike doubling, but good luck in your quest.

Is it machine doubling or a doubled die? Does it really matter when the shift is so minor and requires so much magnification to see? I can see how you enjoy looking for this type of thing but don't think you should be spending good money trying to have it "authenticated". It just isn't of much significance.
