I hope the one he hit had a slow and painful death.

Here's wishing the coin shop owner a healthy recovery and great news one of the suspects is now pleading his case in Hades.

Owning a coin shop is risky business. Very happy the shop owner is alive and he was able to defend himself.

Good thing he was allowed to have a gun!!!

Imagine the outcome if he wasn't. Probably would have been reversed.

Heres to a speedy recovery for the shop owner!!!

Happy to hear the owner will survive, glad to hear the thief died, wish he could have

nailed them all. I have no pity, mercy or patience for criminals. More dead thieves

may help to reduce the practice. Cheers, RickO

I usually see Jim Choad twice a year at the Denver coin show. His injuries sound severe. I hope he can make it to the next Denver show in May. Form what I remember, this may be the second or third robbery (or attempted robbery) at his shop over the years.

Awesome job by the shop owner. I wish him a speedy and full recovery. Very glad that the scum died thus wasting minimal resources and no trial. Shame the others weren't killed. Very glad that the owner was able to carry instead of being forced to be an unarmed victim. Score one for the good guy!

Jim has sold me coins since I was a young child. This is terrible.

I have enjoyed doing some business with him at the Las Vegas Club Show. I am not in his local area, so we just intersect at a few shows. I have found him to be personable, fair, and very competent. This is a tragic situation . . . one of several instances that have affected dealers that I have dealt with in the past. Violence and crime affecting any dealer is horrible news, but I am just seeing too much of it as apparent desperation in society lowers the threshold of violence.

I certainly wish Jim the best in his recovery and getting back to what he does so well . . . helping collectors and fellow dealers in his own style.

He sets up just behind Charmy at Long Beach.

I wish him a full recovery in both spirit and body.

I love it when Criminal Scum find a good dose of Karma.

In some places ( like Dumptroit - scum city ) you can draw Criminals just by being

there. Running a Coin Shop has got to be the worst thing in a crime infested area.

The Shop owner deserves a Medal.
