    It is a common variety for the 1787 Connecticut series. It is Miller 33.32-Z.13, R.1. As for the off center question, it is not off center, as slightly imperfect strikes were the norm for colonial coppers. I still like it though, and I would pick your coin over a 1921 Morgan dollar any day!

    Most likely found due to the pitting / corrosion and it is worn also. Not that the planchets were all that great to begin with. Dennis that was a fast attribution for 4.14 AM!!!
