    When people leave coins in the Coinstar slot are they to lazy to check it or do they think that anything that is rejected isn't any good?

    you have to figure most people who use this service do not know or care about silver and/or anything else numismatic or commodity related.

    I can not say that I have found anything in the reject slot other than what I tried to put in the machine myself.

    Be sure to stick your fingers into that grubby return slot and feel around. At the local Winn-Dixie grocery today I would've sworn there was nothing in the slot of intrigue. The Coinstars is in a less well lit area than the merchandise lanes. But there lay a darkly toned 1951 Roosevelt.
