did not know what this thread was about. Glad I clicked on it s I could wish you peace and great memories of your beloved dog. I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels--one is 9 months one is 2 1/2---cannot imagine life w/o them. In life it's better to give than to receive (see recent SS thread)--I am sure you gave her a great life.
I just lost the last of the MooseDog (my avatar too!) pack about a week before you lost Angie. It's tough we have to outlive them, but know you gave her a good home and a great life. Two and half weeks now and it still hurts, but I know after a bit of time we're going to be looking for a couple of puppies to start a new pack.
I'd like to think Angie and Astro are hanging out now wherever it is dogs go, but Astro was such a snob to any dog that wasn't a whippet or greyhound.
I hardly get on here anymore and just happened to see this thread. Very sorry to hear about your beloved dog. I have an English Chocolate Lab, will turn 5 this year, and he's just a lovable knucklehead. Can't imagine what it will be like someday when he's no longer around.
I'm so sorry for your loss, OP; my cat Tweetie passed away a few years ago and she too (like my current cat and I'm sure Angie) was my very, very best friend So I know exactly what you must be going through...I just hope Angie had a good happy life.
More like losing your best friend There are few things more sacred in this world than the special bond between a man and his dog...the only thing that is as sacred is the special bond between a man and his kitty cat

All the best...
How old was Astro? We have a mini whippet and cant imagine losing him. Just a great breed
My sincerest condolences, dogs are one of life's greatest gifts.
Totally agree with this.
Sorry for your loss Geordie.

I never met your dog, but I always thought he posed for the coolest avatar on the site!
