Another Mail Foul Up Somewhere

So, I have been boring you tediously about my issues with Hohn.
I actually received a letter from them saying that emails sent to my usual email address cannot be delivered.
They did provide the tracking number. The last date noted is December 1 when the packet was "Processed Through Sort Facility" at Frankfurt/Flughafen, Germany.

So, ANOTHER packet from Europe has disappeared.

This is when neurosis deteriorates into paranoia. I won't be ordering anything from Europe until this issue resolves.

Ask your local postmaster if they can track the number on their internal system. They seem to have access to more information than the public tracking website.

I don't think the item is in the United States. Otherwise, I would think that the USPS would note the arrival. I am hoping (?) that this item also ended up being shipped Surface (maybe someone is nervous about my first name, Ira, but it has nothing to do with Irish matters). I also once "Liked" an autism support group which, in retrospect, was named after an Egyptian goddess who was popular around the 2nd Century. She was noted for her compassion. Unfortunately, the letters of her name also are the initials of a certain vile organization.
If you are familiar with ancient Roman literature, I strongly would recommend, The Golden Ass, by Apuleius. Therein, the goddess turns the main character into a donkey.

And this morning, I get an email from Hohn, to the email address that they wrote in a letter was rejecting their emails.

Bingo! Reply to it, and tell them that your patience with their BS has long been exhausted and to their bad luck, they are dealing with a distinguished US attorney who'll make it his life's cause to claim the item and/or a refund, and then damages for psychological traumas caused by their incompetence.

Some distinguished attorney. Practiced very briefly and without distinction. I do work in insurance claims and believe me, making claims is not particularly cost effective. The best route is to keep others advised of potential issues down the road. It may be a while, though, before I order anything from Europe.
