Don't see anything that looks odd to me. I haven't seen that particular reverse hologram/label before but I haven't seen a lot of coins the past 2 years. Comes up with the right cert for that coin. Not a very obvious re-plug as I'm not sure exactly where it is. Unless it looks a lot different in hand, that's a future crack out and back to Ebay. Closer to AU details imo for this date.
I'm pretty confident that if one were to create a fake PCGS slab, they would not put a details grade on the insert.
If someone chose to go that route, I'd expect a Chinese fake with an obvious plug. Even Chinese fakes probably get holed and plugged from time to time....add some "authenticity."
The verbiage on the cert.verification page states "Damaged", while the insert label says Plugged. Probably just a data entry error on the cert. verification page. Code 98 is the same in both locations.
Nothing to see here. Merely a click bait crafted listing title. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together would just navigate away from the listing, especially if they actually are looking for a problem free coin.
It's interesting, code 84 is used for plugged coins, not code 98. However, if multiple problems are detected on the coin then PCGS uses a single code, but it is still odd they would state "Plugged" yet use the code 98 for moved metal.

Yes and this seller has many auctions, open and completed, that are questionable.

According to the PCGS Certification Database, the requested certification number is defined as the following:
PCGS Coin Information
PCGS # 6933
Date, mintmark 1846-O
Denomination $1
Country The United States of America
Grade Genuine XF Details (98 - Damage)
Mintage 59,000
Holder Type Standard
Just another seller saying that a details XF coin is graded XF which it isn't by a long shot.
BTW that blob of a head is where the hole was.
that is what i figured the op was referring to.
nothing wrong with the slab as much as the ebay title advert?
