I'm partial to the small eagle in January. Of course that is my birth month but I do truly love those small eagles more than anything and here I am collecting seated dimes. Something wrong here
October. Small pic but I think Midlife use to own that one
I shot a picture of that one through the holder this year. Clearly a disadvantageous situation compared to shooting it raw. There was no getting that color to pop through the slab without getting glare that wasn't going to be fixed.
Series/stuff I have never had with the exception of the Morgan. I had to look at 2015 again to see if it was the same, it was not with many exceptional coins of stuff I have at least had before and will again. I am not complaining because of the advertisers probably supply most of the cost for printing/shipping. I hope to see some more 'modern' stuff before I die in the PCGS calendar - at least stuff from a series that ran while I was alive... an early Lincoln matte proof, Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt ... would be appreciated by me.
I discovered an error in my 2016 PCGS calendar. March 20th is listed twice.. once where it belongs, and once in the March 29th spot. I hope the 20th is a good day because it looks like I'll have to live through it twice! On the bright side, I can stay home from work on the 29th since it doesn't exist.

I got a package from PCGS today...the anticipation was building as the Fam gathered around...What'Cha got Dad my girls asked...I replied I think it's a Calendar...Opened it and all that was in it was a brochure and 40 folded over submission forms...

My favorite month is Miss January, the 1794 Lord St Oswald Flowing Hair Dollar in PCGS-66+.
However, my favorite coin design is Miss May, the 1907 Ultra High Relief Proof $20 Saint Gaudens in PCGS PR-68.

Received mine today. As always, some great coins being shown.
I like the Front Cover coin - 1797 Half in MS 64. The St. Oswald
1794 Dollar in MS 66+ is nothing to sniff at either.
If I hadn't gotten a complimentary copy, I wouldn't mind buying one at Amazon.

My favorite is October too, but I did not own that one.
I owned this one -
Hung it on a temporary vacant picture mount on the bedroom wall. Kinda as a joke.
Wifey say "no way"!!
I say, "Come on, I don't ask for much".
It's still there. Can't say for how long though.

It's always fun to get these, and to oogle the jaw-dropping coins PCGS picks for display. Hard not to like October.
Thanks, PCGS!
PCGS doesn't choose. The participating dealers do (though I suppose PCGS could reject a coin as unsuitable if they so decided).
And thanks re October.
