Ok, fine. I will put the picture back up. In hand you can tell this coin is naturally toned. It came out of one of those cardboard "Last of the silver coins" displays. The cardboard must have made it tone this way. something is off with the surfaces of the coin. I'm guessing that's why it came back cleaned. Shows no hairlines though.
As I said, the coin looks very nice to me and certainly a coin many people would want in their collections. Congratulations on owning it despite what the holder says. As we say, it's the coin, not the holder!

I have purchased many older picture frame sets. Many coins that have awesome toning have had surfaces messed with -> a slight polish or cleaning giving the surfaces almost a prooflike appearance. This surface in conjunction with cheap carboard, has given many outstanding toning combinations that can best be described as cleaned / retoned.
