Ran across this in my junk penny stash. Looks like PMD or scratches but several of them are actually raised lines. Almost like they were in the die. Any chance it is from a cancelled die?? Nonetheless whatever it is it was done a long time ago! Interested in what the error experts have to say about it. Just a little something to make you think this morning!

Looks like the raised metal is the result of the lines scratched into the coin.
Just moved metal.

Each "raised line" is next to a cut into the coin...
Raised line is metal being pushed around just like making a Hobo coin.....
similar to, if not exactly, an Exacto-Knife.
If you look closely with a magnifying glass,
I guarantee you'll see the line INTO the
surface of the coin, that caused the raised line.
A very common occurrence, although I'll say
this one has more of 'em that most I've seen.
you can see the line I mentioned
on TOP of the lines in the left field,
and on the RIGHT side of the
lines in the right field (obv.)
