    OMG it's the plated hard cover copy image



    Sold for $7.50 in 1921 and has sold for upwards of nearly $7K so I'm shocked that someone scanned one image

    I have found many cool Elder catalogs and some Chapman plated through Numismatics.org and other sites like the Library of Congress, universities and Google/Microsoft initiatives which have been immensely helpful. I always start a search for an old catalog with a Google search now. It is shocking what is now digitized.

    In researching my Elder catalogue I read through roughly 300 auction catalogues like this, with thousands of lots in tiny type, looking for offerings of his tokens and medals. For example, look at lots 231-233, my DeLorey-52, actually issued in late 1914. When he catalogued these in 1921 he had forgotten when he did them.
