35-S Buffalo- NewP. Guess the grade- (grade revealed) :

Picked up this 35-S Buffalo for my collection a little while ago as it was one for which my current example was weak.



This one, I thought very nice though raw, I took a chance.




Finally got around to having it graded by our host.



Comments, guesses and observations welcome. It's been awhile since I've shared any newP's so I thought it about time.

    Looks nice and original IMO. My guess would be MS64

    Edit: looks nice. I really don't see myself being shocked if it was a 66, though I'll stick with 65 just to be conservative.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    I would guess 65 though I know nothing about buffs. Nice looking coin.

    With the hit by the eye, MS 64.



    Nice "pop" though.

    I'd go MS-64. It has a couple of black spots and there are a couple of minor marks under the Indian's eye.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    for the year and mint in question it is way PQ

    My guess is 65 plus

    The very first grade to pop into my mind 3 seconds after glancing at the pics was MS64. Not quite a 65 because of some issues and better than a 63.

    Bump for grade revealed.



    Actually a pretty nice piece for the date/mm as they often come a bit soft.
