Hey, Teddy-
Did you know you share a name with one of our four-legged family members?
Our Teddy likes to visit me when I'm sitting on the back porch in my housecoat.
He loves to rub up against my bare legs after he's been out in the back field and had a good mudwallow.
I can also tell you from long experience what ia delightful sensation it is to have dog snot from a cold, wet snout smeared upon one's kneecaps.
So when ladymarcovan was throwing away a cardboard tube from a roll of fabric, I decided to appropriate it as a self-defense weapon.
Perhaps predictably, it proved to be rather ineffective as a dog deterrent and had the opposite effect.

Why? Because he's earned it!! I don't begrudge any dog related OT post. Here's my baby girl after she tree'd a squirrel......she's a shameful optimist like the squirrel is just gonna fall from the sky.

My rottie's the same way. She lives to hunt squirrels. Funny enough, one day a squirrel did fall out of a tree and land right in front of her. I felt bad about that squirrel for quite a while.

Beautiful dog. I think her behavior must be instinct; squirrels fall out of trees or maybe from being hunting companions for humans.
