Grades In

Pretty Happy with these grades....

4005 1939-D 5C Reverse of 1938 USA MS66 (DDO1)
84007 1940 5C, FS USA MS66FS
84011 1941-D 5C, FS USA MS66+FS
5036 1942/1 10C USA VF30
4018 1943-P 5C USA MS66
4024 1944-S 5C USA MS67+
4081 1968-S 5C USA MS66
1093 1806 1/2C Small 6, No Stems, BNUSA Genuine - XF Details (97 - Environmental Damage)

I thought all the nickels were at least a 66 grade with the war nickels at least a 67 grade and then 68S a shot at a full step coin. The dime was the first 42 over 1 to ever walk into my shop in a bag with a thousand other dimes... 1806 1/2 cent just made the trip to complete the 8 coins for the collectors club submission.

Pictures are coming on some of these... I'm waiting on them to show up.

FullStepJeffs, you must be a very patient person. Not only to search that bag of dimes, but to collect full step Jefferson's as well.

    Congrats on the great finds.

I once worked in another shop and learned to always look at the 42's for over dates after I found a raw 42/1D and a raw 42/1 for him over a couple of years just by looking for them. You just never know what might be in a large batch. It is rare, but every now and then... poof. That's the 3rd one in six or seven years.

Jinx86, I've been into Jefferson Nickels for a long time, well over a decade, probably closer to two decades. The name FullStepJeffs is a misnomer really... I leave it around because it reminds me of my naivety in the early days of my collecting Jefferson's and thinking back then how easy it would be to find them. I now look for the best examples, with or without steps. Steps are just a bonus, but not really a prerequisite.
