I'll be set up at the Buena Park Coin Show this weekend - anyone else going? (It's right across the street from Knot's Berry Farm!)

I'm not going, but I got that email from the Greysheet.

I thought it was interesting to see the table fees. This is a smaller show with 65 tables but I never knew how much they charge dealers to set-up at a show, so I learned something I guess.

In the early 60s, I used to go to Buena Park Retail Clerks Hall to watch surf bands and try to pick up surfer chicks (wasn't very successful). The in the 70s, I used to go to there for the Buena Park coin show. Now, Gordon Wrubel and I go there every last Sunday of the month for the rare record show.

Did you ever go the the Capitol Record meet back in the 1970's? Also, there was a record meet- mostly for 78s at a (Savings & Loan) bank in LA. I am trying to remember the name of it and I think it was Westdale or West something.. Savings. It was on the corner of either Crescent and Beverly or Crescent and Wilshire. It eventually moved out to Pasadena City College and still may be going on. Pasadena City College had a great Swap Meet/Flea Market back in the day- not sure it is still going on.
