  I have missed 2 snipes with auction sniper recently.
  
  Error says "eBay needs account verification"
  
  I use the link for a number code and input it a dozen times and it never takes.

  Nope - went from Auction Sniper to Gixen for that reason.
  
  Doesn't sound like the $6 "Mirror" option would have helped.

  I had ebay drop the ball on me a couple of weeks ago. Entered my bid of 30% higher than the coin hammered for with 6-7 seconds left and my bid would not go through. While rare it does happen some times. I won the next coin I wanted that ended a minute later!

  That stinks...I never have used the sniping programs. I set an alarm to snipe it myself.

  I don't pay the $6 annual fee, so I can't complain. You get what you pay for.

  I think every once in while there is hail in the cloud.
  And yes auction sniper had that log in problem with eBay once missed a rather high snipe for me.

  Last few minutes have been interesting and if you wanted to do anything online in 5 seconds I don't think it would of happened.

  I don't trust sniping programs or such sites and would NEVER use one for something that I really wanted or that was important. I only trust ME. Thank God that I never lost anything too important. Being outbid is not as bad as failing to see your bid go through and having the winner get a 'steal'.
