How many coins are listed in the Red Book?

I'm only asking because I'm curious to know how many 20-coin boxes of slabs would make a complete set, and how much space that would take up.

    In the 2015 Red Book, there are 7 coins listed per inch, and a full page of coins is 6.25 inches and there are 446 pages.

    Assuming 60% of the book is pictures, text and overhead that means there are exactly 7,805 coins (give or take thousands) so you'll need 390.25 PCGS boxes - no more and no less.

    You know I bet if you contacted Whitman, they could give you an answer.

    What about the 2015 Mega Red? I think only one person around these parts could tell us.
    I think a simple database count by Dentuck would reveal the answer.

    I guess you mean complete date/mint/variety, and not just types, huh.

    7,700 items, including standard circulation-strike and Proof
    coinage in the federal series, die varieties, Proof sets, Mint
    sets, commemorative sets, bullion, and tokens and medals.

    another question is how much money it would take to put up a set like that somewhere?
