I've never seen so many Vermont Coppers on eBay.....

It seems like 3X the usual amount. Not great coins by any stretch of the imagination but most carrying (what I think) are very high BINs. I don't know the rate of sale of these coins but I see this as too many offerings for a thin collector base. Could this be collectors dumping duplicates as a result of all the major colonial auctions over the past year? What I'm not seeing for sale though are the R6 and rarer varieties.

    Recalling, Heritage had a slew of these for sale a few weeks back. Perhaps a few of those are now re-entering the market.
