1837 No Stars Half Dime Small or Large Date?

I picked up this 1837 half dime at Long Beach. The holder and coin number designate it as a small date, but after looking at Coinfacts before listing it on my site, it appears that PCGS got it wrong. Or am I just seeing things?

You are correct.
"Large Date" = tall peak to 1 (what you have)
"Small Date" = flat top 1

Obviously this forum does not need my confirmation, as all of the respondents thus far have been quite correct. The OP's coin is an example of the so-called 'Large Date', with the tall peak to the top of the 1, as stated by yosclimber. As often happens, our hosts got the attribution wrong on this one due to the misleading "Large Date" and "Small Date" descriptions. It is also a triple punched date, most evident in the dentils under the 8. Nice coin.
