1917-D Standing Liberty, nice, original looking coin
Tends to be the look I like most. I have learned to appreciate coins that haven't been dipped, and this series is overdipped.

The thing is so many of these have been dipped out and placed in plastic such that they'll never retone (or retone attractively).
Then there are those coins that have never toned but have a beautiful original skin. I think that look is tough to photo but instantly recognizable when you hold the coin in your hand.
As it's a jungle out there in recent years and you need a machete to weed through all the Dippity Doo Dah
This kind of look is tough, and it's all I look for nowadays. I built a set, so now it's just upgrades and better coins. It takes a lot of looking to find coins like this.
But, look I do. And probably more than I should.
