Thanks guys. I love album and envelope toning that happened years and years ago.

The thing is so many of these have been dipped out and placed in plastic such that they'll never retone (or retone attractively).

Then there are those coins that have never toned but have a beautiful original skin. I think that look is tough to photo but instantly recognizable when you hold the coin in your hand.

Thanks everyone. It's really the only thing I collect. Sure, I have some Morgans, some Mercs, a few Barbers here and there, but this series is really the only passion I have.

This kind of look is tough, and it's all I look for nowadays. I built a set, so now it's just upgrades and better coins. It takes a lot of looking to find coins like this.

But, look I do. And probably more than I should.
