If I mirror a reverse, I can see where the clashing happened - but it looks doubled. So the dies were clashed twice slightly offset before striking the dime?
It's very dramatic for sure.

Yes-clashed twice with slight rotation between clashes. Strongest clash I've ever seen.

Why can't these things be found when the coin is MS67+? Ugh. Lol

I've seen another from this pair of dies. You don't often see the peripheral lettering clashed so strongly. Certainly a nice find!

Clash?
That looks like an outright SMASH!
Sweet!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
The name is LEE!

Along with this photo it is indeed the best I've seen. A double-clash (reply) for sure.

You would think so, Teddy but there's just a partial medium strength outline of Roosevelt's head on the reverse. Very strange.

Here's the reverse. Almost looks like a tilted die.
