I bought 4 1965 SMS sets years ago and when viewing the later found all 4 had dimes that look like yours. Sold 1 set to another collector for a very nice profit. Donated another set to a coin club raffle. Still have the other two sets.
Anyone have any idea what this dime would be worth? The clashing is major on both sides.

this one is "MS"...for being "MS" though...it's a well struck one dripping in luster...low on minor issues...one sweet full struck motto which is on the rare side
kool that you got examples in "SMS"...surely that would bump up a value a bit
i'm clueless on value
i know one guy was slinging one for $650 but lowered it to $450 on ebay
i merely thought...goodluck to him

<< <i>Is that rotated as well?

WOW...YOURS ROCKS!!!!
there's a one up there...i love it there crazy4coins
not that's dramatic !!!
Was there a design change that places the devices in a different position? If not, how would the deviation be caused?

<< <i>Comparing the two to each other, notice that there is a slight shift of the clash. The clash on your coin puts the "L" up against the eyebrow, as to where on my coin it is out further and part of the "U" can be seen. Also, on my coin, the bottom of "ERIC" in AMERICA can be seen.

alignment of dies comes to mind...maybe
<< <i>Right, Teddy-die rotation differences. >>
Not rotation in this case. Completely shifted over. Almost as if the dies were out of line, if that is even possible.
