My 1936 Mills Castlefront 5¢ slot machine filled with Buffalo Nicks would look awesome right in the middle of that!

    Looks great!

I really like what you did "repurposing" that table. My dad enjoyed playing Snooker, was pretty good at it too.

Wow! That turned out beautiful!! But that's not resin is it? Is it glass topped? What's supporting the coins in the pocket area?

Nice Job mrdq, Bar looks great. I really like those old game and amusement pieces. Looks like you already have a slot machine in the room. Is that a Mills high top?

I have an old Mills war eagle slot that would look pretty good in that room as well, Wes ;~

Let's see... Yes it's Resin. I put down A/C plywood and painted it black, set the nickels and poured 3 gallons of 2 part resin. There's painted plywood fitted into the pockets also. The whole surface needs to be mostly water-tight or the resin will drain out.

The slot machine is a 1938 Pace Comet slot machine 5 cent and it works great.

My design BUT it was sitting on the floor in a heap for more than a year because I couldn't "see it". A friend came over and he said I SEE IT. We went back and forth and in 10 days from heaped pile to the final result we finished yesterday. He's retired and I work running 5 restaurants so we'd do 2-3 hours a day when we could. The rest of my room has black accents wherever there was "modern" things added and all the wood is either walnut or dark stained pine.

After we laid out the coins i was TWENTY EIGHT SHORT!! After an hour of hard thinking it came to me... start pumping new nickels into the slot machine until it paid out 28 et voila! We finished the pattern.

You're all invited for a game of Snooker or Pool and a drink the next time you're in Sault Sainte Marie send me a message.

    Thank you for the comments.

It's a little sensitive but works great if you're gentle.
