Does any one have a picture of a cameo walking liberty half dollar proof?

Skyman has a 1938 Cameo proof Walker. It has been the subject of many threads over the years and there are great photos of the coin in the threads. Should be easy to find. Just go to the search box and type in Cameo Proof Walker or a variation of same (or "Skyman") and the threads will pop up for you to look at.

Looking at photos of this coin is great, but it is even better to see it in hand. Skyman has brought it to multiple coins in the SF Bay Area for show and tell. Everytime I hold it in mind hand I have to use a bid or a towel to keep from drooling on the slab.

That's the most frost I've ever seen on the sun. Show me an example with more frost on the sun, this might be the best cameo walker extant of any date.

I could render a better photo........if all the devices are frosted. But than again.....it's said to be cameo. Who wouldn't want a pic of their coin that showed complete contrast?

My apologies, I thought the 1st and 2nd coin were the same coin. But shouldn't the first sun be frosted for a cameo?

Here are my favorite obverse/reverse images of the coin.

However, it's very difficult for any individual image to capture either the obverse or the reverse of the coin. IMO here's the best GROUP of images of my Walker. Bob Campbell took them and posted a variety of them to this thread.

If I recall didn't our own mad marty find one in a pawn shop several years back , was like a 37 or 38 . Got it for a real good price!

I have a 42 that is oh so close to CAM but the sun is weak so it will never get it.

Well, this was an era where they weren't made in large quantities but my guess is, Dcams exist and more cams, they just haven't surfaced yet, hidden away in collections.
