Mercury Overdate?

Has there been any other Mercury overdates other than 1942's? I have bought a 1918 that will be here in a few days. I always jump the gun as I should wait until I have the coin in hand before posting but......!!!! LOL Thanks for putting up with my thoughts!!!!

FadetoBlack is correct, highly unlikely that it is an overdate but that doesn't prevent it from being a REALLY COOL variety!

Here is my Top Pop MS67FB that is going up for sale on GreatCollections within a couple of weeks.
You can clearly see what looks like a "2" under the 3. It is a desirable variety for sure.

As for others, just the 1942/1 and 1942/1-D.
There are a TON of dates that have Machine/Mechanical/Shelf Doubling on the date that are really cool but they are not true
varieties and therefore do not carry much of a premium.

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

I once saw a 1918 dime that the owner thought was an overdate, but it was just a tiny die mark on the upper right curve of the 8 that had nothing of what Bill Fivaz calls "character." We returned it at a normal coin.
