Hobbled Bison? Surely you jest.

I won a nice blast white 1832 CBH in lower grade on eBay recently.

When I opened the mailer tonight, the CBH fell out immediately.

Looks nice, I think I did OK.

But, the next moment intrigued me.

Out fell a 'Hobbled' Bison 2005 nickel in one of those dang staple holders.

At first thought, what a nice seller, this is too cool for free.

On second thought.......what the heck is a Hobbled Bison?

Could someone educate me on this 'variety?'

    No different than the speared bison joke, and someone made a killing getting PCGS to recognize it, so why not with all other die crack coins.

    It is a Die Clash for sure. That almost looks like my writing, but I do not think it is, altho I have written Hobbled Bison on many a holder image
