It might also be a brockage. The "detail" on the obverse looks more like lettering from the reverse than it does the bottom of Lincoln's coat.

Wondering how they're immobilizing the fragment inside the slab.

While I certainly find it interesting, I am amazed that anyone would slab it..... I do not know why I am surprised/amazed...people collect belly button lint....
