Ok folks, I've been swayed to the PMD side! At the FUN Show, the prevailing opinion was PMD. Something brought to my attention that I did not catch (and does not show in the pictures) are some angled hits on the building next to the mint mark. Taking these building hits into account and the appearance of the slide hit on the mint mark....PMD. I still struggle with, but accept this fact, how such a small mint mark could be dis-formed so significantly to look as it does. Oh well, that is all I have to say about this!
