FUN Newps and major milestone
Finally got a chance to image some of my FUN newps, but more importantly, I finally overcame numismatic ADD and finished putting together a set of something, in this case a 50-coin silver commem set, with the purchase of this guy at the Heritage auction Friday.

Thursday I found this one for my prime number set, so I'm slowly closing in on that list, too (6 to go for my box of 29).

I also bought a couple Dansco-worthy raw Franklins to keep touch with my album filling roots and a few silver dollars, but haven't photographed any of those.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

<< <i>That is a great looking commem. Will you be making a photo montage to showcase them all at once? >>
Quite possibly. I do have them all pictured in my registry set, except for the Alabama which is in an NGC holder.

<< <i>Congratulations on finally putting the frosting on your set. Your Hawaiian commem is VERY nice and well worth waiting for. Lot's of eye appeal.
So, what is your next conquest???? >>
Thanks! I have a couple irons in the fire right now. My prime number set, 1723-1951, needs another 6 coins, a few of which are going to be spendy and/or hard to find. I'm always on the lookout for interesting Morgan dollar die marriages, but I don't look at that in the context of a set to complete. I'm also tempted to put together a complete Oregon Trail or Texas set, simply because the designs are so cool.
