Can someone help me with a safe problem (Sentry Safe)!

OK... I got the safe in today and I can't get the dern thing open... I have the combo, and when I type it in (I have an elecronic lock on mine) the green light says proceed, but the handle wont open the safe, and the door wont budge. I read on their website that water-resistant safes will stick sometimes (which mine is water-resistant) but I am pulling very hard. Any help?

    I assume you also inserted the key and turned it so the thingy popped out?

    I have a combo too, and you're on target. If the cylinder didn't pop out, it will never open.

    I just figured it out... I assume you pulled the lever... you push it down... I have another question though... the "dehumidifiers" that come with the safe... are they enough to keep my stuff from becoming moist... there are two bags that are about 4" X 2.5".

    Does it matter where you put the dehumidifiers? Also... what is the best way to do the bolts... I remember Russ said something about better than the bolts that came with it, but the safe will only reside here for another 5 or 6 years or so, and I am not sure if Russ's would require ripping the entire floor out to get the safe to move.

    What I did was drill all the way through the floor and, instead of using the bolts that come with the safe, used those toggle bolts that snug up under the floorboard. They have a long shaft and this butterfly thing that spreads out once you get it through the hole. When you tighten it down, it cinches and anchors underneath. They are removable, you just can't yank the safe up without un-bolting it and, of course, you can't un-bolt it unless you can get it open.

    In your case, since your safe is quite a bit heavier than mine, I'd say just use the bolts that came with it and follow the instructions.
