Wow, this has been on my mind all morning since I first read this post. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and all involved in this terrible occurrence.
Faith, hope and love are not always so evident here, and all of them can be attributed. It is humbling to ask for prayer, and so you receive whatever it is you ask…, even as it tests the integrity of the rules. Moreso, because I am called to pray , so i offer them for ALL who are suffering and have needs. That you and yours will be safe and comforted.
Good news on the update Wes....goes to show that while some of us may have differences on various issues that we can and do come together as a community when needed. Hoping the girls continue on a speedy and full recovery.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughters. So good to hear that their injuries are not as serious as first thought. Why is it, in cases such as these, that the person at fault has no serious injuries, but innocent people such as your daughters seem to suffer the worst of it. Good luck and a quick recovery to you all.

Wes, so glad to hear your kids are not hurt more seriously. What a very scary thing, something every parent worries about. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for speedy recoveries.
<< <i>After a very short and restless night I do have some good news. I do know my oldest has a lower leg fracture from a collapsing steering column and one of the younger girls has a concussion. All 3 have many cuts and contusions from glass and airbags. Considering how bad things might have been, we are very lucky that things may not be as serious as we first feared. The young man that hit them apparently has no serious injuries. I want to thank you all for the kind thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to me!

It's sad that a lower leg fracture is good news!
Glad to hear everyone's alive and no life-threating injuries. Best wishes to your daughters...
Good news indeed! Wounds can be healed. Death is forever.

Very good update. Given that they were in an accident, the outcome should certainly cheer you up and give you something to celebrate this holiday season.
I am glad that they survived. Having your children involved in an accident like this is bad enough, being away and helpless adds immensely to the heartbreak. I hope everyone recovers.
I am so glad to hear that it is not any more serious than it is. I have thought about it since I first heard about it last night. Checked first thing this morning. Good news under the circumstances and I am very glad for you.
Don't worry, help is on the way! I just said a prayer for your family, the driver and yourself. I think your very thoughtful not only for your family (of course) but also for the driver too! Thank Jesus, it could have been even worse, I'm sure your aware.

Good news for sure. Hopefully the fracture is one that will heal without long-term consequences.
It's frightening to think of inexperienced, unlicensed, uninsured youngsters behind the wheel. There should be severe repercussions for this sort of irresponsible behavior. Laws about this are much more strict in Europe.
